Practice self-love

"Hm you know, it seems to me that you are not kind enough to yourself. You are not following your true nature and instead arguing with yourself. Maybe it would be good if you hugged yourself tightly."

"Excuse me? Hugging myself? You want to kid me?"

Shushu, the caterpillar,  laughed out loud: "My dear, I'll keep that safe - otherwise I would be flat. No, I'm very serious. Close your eyes and imagine that you are doubling up and being your best friend, who takes you tightly in his arms and really understands you! "

Bao looked a little incredulous, sighed, and finally did what Shushu had advised him to do. After a while he noticed tears welling up in his eyes. But they weren't bitter but sweet tears that only flow when you experience something very beautiful ...

You must enter a relationship

The right attitude

You shouldn't "think positively" but learn to be mercilessly creative and opportunistic.

Not: that's not so bad after all.

Rather: I can turn it around for the better.

Some people

Addiction: You and the beast

This is how you learn to distinguish the addiction from yourself and see how you are manipulated.

Dare to be you

If you are a tulip, don't try to be a rose. Go find a tulip garden. All of my clients are tulips and they are trying to be roses. It doesn't work. They drive themselves crazy trying. I recognize that some people don't have the skills to plant the garden they need. But everybody can learn how to garden.

Live and die

With suicidal clients, I would generally start by asking if they believed that they would be happier if dead. They seemed to think that their suffering would end if they killed themselves. I'd point out that there were no data provingg that was true. There are religoins that believe if you kill yourself you will go to hell, and others that believe you will have to live your whole life all over again. That could keep me from doing it.

5

Control your impulses

These are the STOP skills:

Stop the urge to act immediately.

Take a step back and teach from the situation

Oberse, so you can gather information on what is happening.

Proceed mindfully, by evaluationg the most effective option to take, given the goals, and finally follow that option.

I like the way the stretch marks

on my thighs look human

and that we're soft yet

rough and jungle wild

when we need to be

i love that about us

how capable we are of feeling

how unafraid we are of breaking

and tend to our wounds with grace

just being a woman

calling myself

a woman

makes me uttlery whole

and complete

Find your purpose

You cannot become the best version of yourself if you can't spend time alone with yourself and love it.

Once you overcome your addictions (drugs, food, shopping, sex, masturbation, internet, nicotine, alcohol, etc ...) you are on your ultimate path. The path you were in front to be on.

“And so there must be in life something like a catastrophic turning point, when the world as we know ceases to exist. A moment that transform us into a different person from one heartbeat to the next. "

Your greatest weakness is your greatest strength

In our vulnerability lies our greatest strength. It takes courage to accept our weaknesses and transform them into our strengths.

A weakness is just a weakness until you accept it. Then it can become your greatest strength.

love

“I have often wondered what was the source of her beauty, her radiance. It's not the size of one's nose, the color of one's skin, the shape of one's lips or eyes that make one beautiful or ugly. So what is it? Can you, as a woman, tell me?

I shook my head.

I will tell you: It's love. Love makes us beautiful. Do you know a single person who loves and is loved, who is loved unconditionally and who, at the same time, is ugly? There's no need to ponder the question. There is no such person. "
- Jan-Philipp Sendker, The Art of Hearing Heartbeats crazy trying. I recognize that some people don't have the skills to plant the garden they need. But everybody can learn how to garden.
